We’re playing at the 2009 Big Day Out! Right on.
Just so people know, the Whammy Bar gig is going to start a bit later than usual. The doors open at 9.30pm, and the first band, Artisan Guns, will start around 10:30pm. I wouldn’t want to miss them, I’ve heard great things.
We should be playing around 12midnight.
See you there this Saturday.
The Wind is Up will be in stores today, but you can also click on the side of this page, which will redirect you to an online store.
Yay!!
And remember - next Saturday is the album launch at the Whammy Bar. We’ll be playing with Yule and Artisan Guns. It’s free.

We have one more show to go, and our autumn tour will be finished.
May 10th at the Wine Cellar, Auckland. The show starts at 9pm SHARP, as we have to get the quieter acts out of the way before the Whammy Bar next door starts to make a racket. It’ll be a great show - the line up is a good one. Starting at 9pm with Timothy Blackman, then Australia’s Spinster Sinister (on tour in NZ), followed by Andy Gibson and his band, and lastly George and Queen (that’s us!). It’s $5 on the door - not bad, eh?
Our ferry was delayed by over four hours last Saturday and we would have ended up arriving in Nelson just before midnight! How disappointing! We were all really looking forward to our first Nelson gig
But we’ll come next time! 7 metre ocean swell or no!
